AGM – Thursday 16 November – 7.45pm

I hope that you have received details of the one hundred and fiftieth Annual General Meeting of your Cricket Club on Thursday 16th November 2017 in the Pavilion. We will start promptly at 7-45pm.

The AGM is an important feature of our club and I hope that you can attend. We will discuss the past season, elect a new committee and the skippers for 2018 together with planning for the next season. At the meeting, we will also vote for the Players' player in 2017 – the form is attached. Please complete the form and send to Dan Peters.

The meeting is your opportunity to participate in the future of your club and shape key actions to ensure success in 2018. This years agenda is attached here and the minutes from last year's meeting are attached here.

As you will be aware, the nominations of captains is a process wherein interested parties are asked to volunteer their services to the Chairman of Cricket, Graeme Hough. The committee received the nominations and a list of recommendations for skippers is attached.

At the AGM all full members will have the opportunity to vote – these are determined by full member status as well as the list of age group managers from the junior section. If you wish to check your membership status please contact John Lawrence the membership secretary or Dan Peters, the Club Secretary.

If there are matters that you wish to raise at the AGM or you cannot attend, please contact Dan Peters via email to

I look forward to seeing you next week but if we do not meet, I hope that you have a great winter break and that you return to the club for winter nets so that the Club does well in 2018.

Best wishes

John Smith, President. DCC

150th Celebrations at Lords

Several hundred people gathered in the Lords Long Room on Friday 29th September to celebrate Dulwich CC's 150th birthday. Past and current players and friends of the club enjoyed some fine food in a wonderful setting, with entertainment from after-dinner speaker Geoff Miller. Many thanks to Kushal Patel for providing a selection of great shots from the evening – all available here. Many thanks to John Smith for his organisation of an excellent evening.

For those unaware, the weekend celebrations ending a little damply, with the game versus the Cross Arrows XI on the Nursery Ground on Saturday 30th cancelled due to a wet outfield. Our celebrations of this historic this year reach their climax next week as our touring party set off for India!
