Copy of Dulwich 177-8 (40) beat Chippingdale 122 (32.3) by 55 runs

The Ladies welcomed the league leaders, Chippingdale to DSG on Sunday.

With the weather set fair Dulwich were looking to avenge their defeat to Chippingdale earlier in the season and get back to winning ways after a narrow defeat last Sunday.

Without Kira, who was absent on Surrey duties, Darcy Evans starred with the bat, making 71, with good contributions from Nikki (18), Theo (10, including one six), Crossy (13 not out) and Lyndsay (10). After 40 overs Dulwich made 177 runs, with 2 wickets remaining.

In reply, Dulwich bowled well as a unit and took wickets at regular intervals and bowled out Chippingdale for 122; Jane took home figures of 4-21, Lyndsay 3-24, Nikki 2-20, and Theo on her return after 2 seasons away had good figures of 1-14 off 6 overs.

The Ladies should take confidence from this convincing win and look to make it two wins on the bounce this Sunday against St Lawrence and Highland Court 2’s.
