On Wednesday, 7th August Dulwich CC has the privilege of hosting and playing a match against a Sydney Cricket & Ground XI who are over here to watch some of the Ashes and play some matches. This is Australia’s equivalent of our MCC so a real coup for our Club to be asked to play them. Their other fixtures include the MCC and a Duke of Norfolk’s XI
The match will be 40 overs starting at a flexible 11.30am with the bar open from 12.00pm. A Dulwich CC team has been selected that hopefully best represents the Club and will provide strong enough opposition to them. It includes some of our junior players alongside more senior players and 1st XI players. We expect them to have some good players and a good team based on previous experience.
Please feel free to come down if you are able to. The match will go on to late afternoon / early evening and hopefully their team will be able to stay on for a period of time after the match. It should be a fantastic day.
