Dulwich CC - Indoor Cricket School

It is the intention of Dulwich Cricket Club to raise funds and subsequently build an indoor cricket facility within the footprint of Dulwich Sports Club. The site identified is a redundant piece of land adjacent to the existing sports club pavilion and a railway line that runs parallel to the sports club boundary. This land is currently used for parking storage containers.

The facility will be constructed to a high specification and will comprise three fully equipped cricket nets with full bowler run - ups. The floor surface of one net will be made of the most modern materials to allow for spin bowling as our intention is to create a centre of excellence in this art.

In order to optimise the use of the facility, provision will also be made for other specialist sporting activities that may include short tennis, athletics sprint starting, archery and an area for simulated golf practice. The primary considerations and criteria will however be determined by the indoor cricket facility.

Please download our Project Overview (600KB PDF) which describes the project plan, estiamted costs & ideas for the design. It also has lots of background information about the club and its history.
