Using the Outdoor nets at Dulwich in the 2006 season.

As members have commented favourably upon the winter nets, your committee has acted to improve the outdoor nets. We have asked Dave Robson to manage the nets. This entails at least two things - splitting the groups of players up and adding some discipline to the training.

The selection committee has met and clustered players into three nights for the start of the season - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Please keep to these groups - if you wish to change/move to another night ask your skipper at the weekend or talk with Dave Robson directly. Do not expect to turn up and be accomodated.

All nets and training sessions will start from 6pm and will be structured by Dave Robson. The nets sessions will include training, fielding and supervised time in the nets. Please come along in predominately white gear and remember no spikes! As we need to pay for the coaching, Dave will charge £3 a head. A number of you have asked, when they might finish? We hope to conclude around 8-30pm.

Part of the ethos of the nets will be to translate training into weekend performance, so please talk with Dave and the skippers as to your personal targets for the season. The skippers and the selection committee will be assesing attendance at nets as part of the overall criteria for selection.
